EDUC 2255 Effective Use of Instructional Technology Week 1 Task 3 Create Your Own Blog

Good Afternoon Mr. Steven Shapiro. I enjoyed reading the articles you posted on “Blogs in the Classroom” and “Educational Blogging”. Having read both articles I can see now why they are being used and how they benefit teachers. I think the “key” in creating a Classroom Blog is Open Communication between your students and their parents with what is currently happening within your classroom. Currently, having watched some WordPress Tutorial Videos I am finding myself lost and confused navigating on this site. Please share with me any additional easy to understand information available moving forward. As a Welding Instructor my goal is to past down to my students as much information as possible in a way that is engaging, fun, and in a easy to learn format that keeps their interest and the want to learn more about the lesson topic I am covering.
